1 cup molasses
1/4 cup sugar, brown or granulated......for this I prefer the brown
4 tablespoons butter
3 eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon flour
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 cup chopped pecans
1 8inch pie shell, unbaked
combine the molasses, sugar, butter, eggs, flour, and vanilla......cook and stire in the top of a double boiler until all the ingredients are well
blended.....fod in the uts and pour into pie shell....bake at 300 degrees for about 35-40 minutes.
YOU CAN MAKE THIS WITHOUT THE NUTS......I JUST PREFER THEM.
