Atom, we have to separate ways here. I refuse to eat Chicken Wings with BBQ Sauce on them. Also if they are fried they can't have flour on them if I can help it. For true, original, hot wings they should be fried with no flour or batter and dipped only in Franks Red Hot Sauce mixed with melted butter. That's how the original ones were served at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo NY. I do eat them other ways though but NEVER with BBQ Sauce. LOL
